Saline County Jail Facing Budget Crunch

Saline County Quorum Court on Tuesday is slated to pass an emergency measure to allocate $1.3 million for its new jail.

The county committed $1.9 million to the jail fund in 2008 when it was built but budgeted less money each year for it since then, according to a county official.
