Man Shot to Death in Faulkner County, Woman Wounded, Suspect Arrested

The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) has made an arrest as it investigates an overnight shooting that left a man dead and a woman wounded.

It happened at a home on Buddy Lane southeast of Conway near Lake Conway around 1:30 this morning.

The FCSO says when deputies arrived on the scene they found the body of Charles G. Hooten, 39.

They also found another shooting victim, identified as Debbie L. Ford, who was taken by helicopter to a Little Rock hospital. She was in stable condition at last report.

The FCSO is not yet releasing the suspect's name, or details about how the shooting happened.
