The Fiscal Cliff and More in Political Plays of the Week

By: KARK 4 Today
Updated: December 14, 2012
Political Strategist Bill Vickery turns our attention to Capital Hill.  As of this morning we're exactly one week away from Congress going home for the holiday break and still no deal on avoiding the Fiscal Cliff.  Still deadlocked... And no closer to a deal this morning after a second face-to-face between President Obama and Republican House Speaker John Boehner.

As far as the Martha Shoffner scandal Vickery says everyone makes mistakes.  You may remember, Shoffner being subpoena'ed in September to answer for questionable bond deals that lost the state more than a quarter million dollars.  And today, she'll be questioned once again.
