Pulaski County Joins Holiday Anti-Drunk Driving Campaign

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: December 13, 2012
The Pulaski County Sheriff Office (PCSO) is joining with other state and local law enforcement agencies who're participating in the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" national law enforcement and public media campaign against drunk driving.

If your celebration includes drinking alcohol, the PCSO requests that you celebrate responsibly:
  • It is suggested that if you plan to drive, don't drink.
  • Always have a designated sober driver if you choose to drink.
  • If you find yourself in a situation where you have been drinking without a designated driver, call a taxicab or call a friend to get you to your designation.
The PCSO has increased enforcement to identify and arrest impaired drivers during this time period. The Sheriff's office will increase saturation patrols and conduct a sobriety checkpoint tomorrow night.
