January Computer Classes for People 50+ Offered at UAMS

Fundamentals for Beginners, Introduction to Computers, File Management and Excel will be taught in January at the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Classes begin January 3. Class times are:
- Fundamentals for Beginners, Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - noon
- Introduction to Computers, Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 - 3 p.m.
- File Management, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. - noon
- Excel, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 - 3 p.m.
Classes are in Room 2156 at the Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive.

In addition, an iPad workshop will be from 2-3:30 p.m. January 11 at the Institute on Aging. It will cover such topics as cost, iPad storage, Wi-Fi, data plans, downloading library books, printing and popular applications for the tablet device.
