A man is behind bars after an argument with his girlfriend over the gender of their unborn baby.

Landree Harris, 28, of North Little Rock, was arrested for domestic battery after an argument turned physical.

Harris' girlfriend told police they were arguing over expecting a girl instead of boy.

The report says an angry Harris punched his pregnant girlfriend in the head and then beat her with a power cord.

Harris has been charged with third-degree domestic battery and is currently in the Pulaski County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Can we say stupid. What kind of a man would beat his pregnant girlfriend over something that stupid. As long as the baby is healthy then it shouldn't matter what gender it is.
