The department is a tight knit bunch, and when one was diagnosed with cancer, everyone else vowed that he wouldn't be in this fight alone.
Ron Gamache says he discovered a lump in his cheek a couple of months ago and was soon diagnosed with lymphoma.
Doctors warned Ron that when was put on chemotherapy he'd lose his hair, and when he did, his friends were ready.
They shaved their heads for Ron, and continue taking a razor to them every couple of days.
They say it's a little chilly in the cold weather, but it's no sacrifice for a friend.
"What they're doing is great," Gamache says. "For the family, and camaraderie, and all the goofing around we do, it's pretty cool. It really is."
Ron says his treatment is going very well.
