Arkansas Baptist Student Robbed at Gunpoint Near Campus

An Arkansas Baptist College student was robbed at gunpoint just off campus on Monday.
According to a police report, the 22-year-old student approached off-duty officers and told them a man in a 1990 red four-door Honda Accord pulled up, jumped out and displayed a handgun just before demanding the victim's money and cellphone.
The victim complied, handing over $50 in cash and his Apple iPhone to the suspect.
According to the report, the suspect then jumped in the Honda Accord and drove away westbound on 18th Street.
Police have no other suspect information at this time.
