The Garland County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) says there has been a string of incidents over the last two weeks.
The cases of breaking or entering has left vehicle owners missing items of value ranging from phones, GPS's, laptops, and cameras to stereos, wallets and purses.
The GCSO says while there is normally no specific area where the break-ins happen, the south and west sides of the county seem to have been targeted over the weekend.
In nearly all of these B&E's, the vehicles have been unlocked and the valuables were left in plain sight, the GSCO says.
With the Christmas season upon us, deputies are reminding everyone to keep their vehicles locked, to take valuables into their homes or workplaces, or lock them in the trunk.
If you notice someone or something out of the ordinary in your neighborhoods, call 911.
If you are able to safely obtain descriptions of suspicious persons or the make, model and license plate of suspicious vehicles, the GCSO would welcome that information.
