A 6 year-old in Pine Bluff is inspiring his mom to help other kids have a better Christmas.

Skateland, the families business, is now holding a Toy Drive for families dealing with domestic violence.

The skating rink is partnering with CASA, and asking community members to donate clothes and toys for abused women and children

"I hope at the very least it puts a smile on their face sometimes it helps to know someone else is thinking about you and there is help out there, and for the children it'll be nice to wake up Christmas morning and have something from Santa," said Skateland owner, Ashantia Hellloms

Items can be dropped off at Skateland through December 22..
