With the good Halloween weather, trick-or-treaters were out in full force. From the classic princess costume, the army soldier costume, to the new popular costume of Hannah Montana, kids packed the streets ready to fill their bags with candy.
But is all of the candy safe? You've probably heard the stories of kids finding razor blades in apples. and some believe it's urban legend, but regardless it's always better to be safe than sorry.
In Cabot the Junior Auxiliary hosted a free candy screening at Back In Action Chiropractic Clinic.
Families piled in and checked in their candy bags. The candy was then screened through an x-ray and a chiropractor checked the x-rays to make sure they were safe.
"We know it's important because we always have a big turnout. Parents are always grateful that the candy is safem" Dr. Phillip Jones with the Back in Action Chiropractic Clinic.
