A Connecticut woman continues on the road to recovery after turning to an Arkansas therapy facility to cope with a 2011 Christmas tragedy.

Madonna Badger struggled to find hope again after the loss of her parents and three daughters in a house fire.

Her journey to heal led her to the Psychiatric Research Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock.

"My eyes have been really opened to how amazing, how many amazing places there are in this country. I grew up in Kentucky, and Arkansas has a lot of that same feeling. There's so much wisdom and so many healers everywhere and I've had this incredible experience of actually living here and knowing that, but also I've gotten these incredible letters, poems and cards and emails from all over the country and all over the world and I do feel that the love of all of those people that reached out to me, or just prayed for me, have completely gotten me through this year."
