Garland County Treasurer Jo West-Taylor, Assessor Brenda Short, former Circuit Court Clerk Vicki Rima and Woodruff County Treasurer Marlene Hite are suing the system, according to court records.
The four allege the system violated their constitutional right to due process and equal protection under the law when they were not fully paid their retirement benefits, according to the complaint.
The attorney representing them, Denise Hoggard, was unavailable for an on-camera interview. APRS Executive Director Gail Stone was also unavailable for comment.
