Pulaski Academy students in Little Rock are giving back in a big way, ensuring hundreds of families will not go hungry across Central Arkansas.

High school students in all grades, including the middle school, raised over six thousand dollars in cash.

They also collected thousands of canned food items as well.

Senior Alexa Pearce, said they are given so much a PA, giving back is the right thing to do.

"We are really grateful for what we've been blessed with and we feel like the best way to show our appreciation is to give back to the community."

The food bank can buy over 31k cans of food with just this alone.
