"I love the smell of bleach," said daycare worker Krishunya Oates, "We use hand sanitzer 24/7."

At Cathy's Little Angels, Oates watches kids sneeze, cough, spit and so everything is wiped down with bleach repeatedly throughout the day.

"It spreads constantly, it spreads to us workers," says Oates.

This time of the year officials with the Arkansas Health Department say viruses can spread through daycares and pre-schools like wildfire.

"Most at risk are little ones under the age of two," said Ed Barham.

The flu and common cold you're probably familiar with, but what about Respiratory Syncytial Virus or RSV? A highly contagious virus that can lead to fever and respiratory distress in children.

A pre-school in Plainview this week had three kids test positive for the virus which can grow into a series health concern. "Keep them home, treat the symptoms and help them get well," said Barham, "With lots of rest and keep them away from other kids."

RSV can be spread through coughing or sneezing but also stays on surfaces like toys and countertops.

"Keep ourselves healthy so we can be healthy for the kids," said Oates.

Which is why she continues to scrub everywhere those little hands have touched.
