Money Matters: Organizing Your Clutter

Getting organized could be the key to saving money.
Organizing your chaotic kitchen pantry could help keep more green in your wallet.
"How many times have you gone to the store, bought some tomato sauce, came home, and found in the back of your cabinet 3 or 4 more cans or found one that's expired because you didn't know you had it," said Tani White, General Manager of the Little Rock Container Store.
White's biggest tip- go vertical. "When you open a cabinet, you have all that wasted space," said White. "Go up a little bit and you'll be able to see it."
It's not just the kitchen. Use the same advice in your closet. Make it easier to shop your own racks for the perfect holiday party outfit rather than buying a new one.
Getting an entire home organized is a tall order. Experts don't recommend you try to tackle all of the clutter at once.
"It's overwhelming," said White."Start Small. One drawer at a time. Anybody can get organized. It's very very easy."
There are lots of products out there to help get you organized at just about every price point.
