Some Find Alternaties to Black Friday Shopping

Not everyone hit the stores this Black Friday. Many took advantage of the good weather to spend some time outside.
KARK found a crowd of skaters on the ice in the River Market.
Adults and kids alike shuffled around the rink. Some told us they just wanted to take it easy and enjoy time with family during the Thanksgiving holiday.
We asked one young man what his favorite part of the experience was, and he said, "Learning how to skate. Going around." When asked about his least favorite part? "Falling down."
However, he did think it was more fun than shopping.
The River Market on Ice will be open through January 6.
