St. Vincent Slashes Budget and Jobs

A spokeswoman for St. Vincent Health System confirms the hospital group has laid off 29 people.

The move is part of its plan to slash $12 million from its budget.

The healthcare provider employs about 3,000 people.

It is currently discussing a shared services agreement with UAMS.
