A new charter school coming to Little Rock will be housed on the Arkansas Baptist campus.

It's one of three charters scheduled to open under Premier Schools out of Texas.

The Arkansas Baptist President said he was a little apprehensive at first, but now is excited about the opportunity to help these students.

"This institution could be that shot of B12, that some of us need to just complete what we start. Also we feel we can be such a supportive environment, which works into the framework, of what we are trying to do in growing hope and giving vision."

The school will open in the fall of 2013 with about 250 students.

The other two Charter Schools will be in Bentonville and Pine Bluff.
