Former Gang Member Talks About His Faith

 He was once part of the problem --
    Now, a former gang member's speaking about the power of forgiveness and redemption.
    KARK 4's visits with former gang leader, Nicky Cruz.
    Cruz relives his abusive childhood and his days on the streets in his book "Run Baby Run."
    As the former leader of a violent gang, Cruz used to live a dangerous and dark life.
    Now, after finding the true meaning of love, Cruz shares his faith with folks around the country.
    "In a very aggressive, progressive culture I still believe God is the one who can change us," says Cruz.
    Cruz will be speaking to Arkansas prisoners while he's in Arkansas, but you can catch him at local church services starting Friday night.
    Cruz will share his story starting at 7 PM at Full Counsel Fellowship in North Little Rock Friday.
    Then on Saturday, Cruz will speak at a Hispanic service at the old K-Mart in Little Rock off University and Asher.
    That service begins at 5:00.
    On Sunday, Cruz will wrap up his visit to Arkansas in Mabelvale at the River of Life...starting at 10:30.
