2 Men Charged with Burglary, Tied to Over 30 Others

A pair of Dardanelle men have been charged with burglary and theft of property after being caught with a stolen gun and laptop.
According to RiverValleyLeader.com, 24-year-old Andrew Sawdy (pictured, left) and 28-year-old Joey Simmons (right) were arrested earlier this week after an investigation into several commercial burglaries in Russellville.
After noticing Simmons' truck on surveillance video, police stopped the pair on South Arkansas Avenue and found the stolen gun, laptop and several other items that had been reported stolen.
The article says Sawdy and Simmons were involved in 18 commercial burglaries in Russellville and tied to at least 18 other burglaries in Yell County.
Their bonds were set at $30,000 each.

Burglaries are on the rise and so people must take action to lower the chances of it happening to them.
