A bleak winter weather outlook and the lack of potentially substantial heat has some worried about their trees.
Even in winter, a lack of moisture can have damaging effects on your landscape, and come time for your trees to grow their leaves back in spring they might not show.
"We're going to start seeing some of the weaker trees that were under distress are really going to start dying," says Dallas County Extension Agent Keith Gresham.
Recent rains have helped, especially for those in the Ag business, but a drastic improvement in the drought outlook is needed for substantial changes.
