Radio Disney Brings Educational Message to El Dorado

Radio Disney brought an educational message to El Dorado on Tuesday.
In an assembly at the El Dorado High School Arena, students from Washington Middle School were encouraged to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math.
This was the first time that Radio Disney had conducted the interactive program for students in Arkansas.
Radio Disney partnered with some El Dorado companies to make the event possible and give students ideas about careers they could pursue.
"Our students are watching Disney on television with the Disney Channel, they're listening to Disney Radio so they understand our songs. They actually know the songs we sing, so if we use this creative environment and interject information and messages about math and science and technology, they're more likely to receive the message," said a Radio Disney spokesperson.
The event was a part of recognizing American Education Week.
