Banks and other businesses are training to perhaps spot and deter crime, much like a neighborhood watch.
Members are linked through an email system allowing investigators and businesses to alert one another to anything that doesn't look quite right.
"Crime trends we're seeing, we'll put it out to the businesses if they see something suspicious they can notify other members and us with the click of an email," says Lt. Kevin Russell with the Benton Police Department.
Businesses also receive stickers to place on shop windows to alert customers and would-be crooks of their membership status.
If you'd like to join the program or learn about establishing a business watch in your city -- contact the Benton Police Department.
