Update: Body Found After Landowner Noticed Something Was Blocking Well

Human remains have been recovered from a well in eastern Grant County.
The body was found in the 3-foot-wide well in a wooded area off Highway 46 southwest of Redfield.
The remains have been sent to the State Crime Lab for identification and to try to determine a cause of death.
According to the Grant County Sheriff, the property owner discovered the remains Monday morning after noticing something was blocking the well.
A Search and Rescue crew recovered the body shortly before 7:00 p.m.
