Update (November 13):

Little Rock Police have made an arrest and are looking for another suspect in Monday's shooting incident along Chenal Parkway.

Melton Parker (photo below), 22, of North Little Rock was taken into custody on Monday and police were looking for Jontai Gatewood, 28, of Little Rock.

Parker is charged with battery, aggravated robbery, possession of firearms by certain persons and theft of property. He is being held on $500,000 bond. His booking report also notes he was a parole absconder.

It's not known if Gatewood had been charged in the case.

The shooting victim has been identified as a 38-year-old Little Rock man. Police say his injury is not believed to have been life-threatening.

The third suspect police are looking for is identified as Aprintes Boykins, 29, of Little Rock, who lived in the apartment where the other two suspects were found and arrested.

Original story (November 12):
Little Rock Police confirmed Monday night they are interviewing persons of interest regarding an armed robbery outside a bank that left one man with a gunshot wound to his left leg.

Police are also investigating a bystander who witnesses say pulled out and handgun and shot at white getaway car driven by the suspected robbers, hitting another person's car

So far, police have not released the names of the shooting victim and the man witnesses say fired three shots at the fleeing robbers.

It happened just after 1:30 pm outside the Arvest Bank branch located in a shopping mall in the 16000 block of Chenal Parkway.

Eyewitness Stephen Bailey was at a nearby gas station getting fuel when he heard the gunfire and saw a man in surgical scrubs fire at the robbers as they fled.

"It's crazy, mid day like this," Bailey said.

Police found what they suspect is the getaway car at an apartment complex about two miles from the shooting scene.
