How do you feel about government-issued healthcare?

A new Rasmussen report survey finds Americans are about evenly split on the concept.

Fifty-one percent of adults questioned agree that healthcare should be free to all citizens. They support the idea even though 52 percent think it would cause the quality of healthcare to decline.

About half also agree that free healthcare for everyone would drive up costs.

If people were required to give up their current health insurance for a government-issued policy, only 3 in 10 said they would want to do that.
