Clayton Otwell, 21, died at the voodoo festival October 30th.

Loved ones rememberd Otwell at a service in Allsopp park Sunday afternoon by surrounding themselves with his favorite color, purple and with stories about his unique spirit.

Those who knew him said often people were taken aback by his appearence but grew to love him very quickly.

"He was one of those guys who didn't get worried didn't freak out he just took things as they went," said Dave Bowlin. "Then once you got to know him you got to peel back the layers of what he was like. and he was a pretty amazing guy."

The synthetic LSD that is linked to his death, sometimes called 25-i, has since been banned in Louisiana.
