A Bentonville man accused of killing his wife before turning a gun on himself is behind bars after a lengthy recovery.

Bentonville police arrested Perry Davis, Jr. at a Springdale hospital Thursday night.

Police surrounded Davis' home on Ouachita Drive in August, after officers responded to a domestic disturbance and heard gunshots.

Hours later they entered the home and found Kelly Davis dead, and the suspect with what they believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Davis is charged with kidnapping and capital murder.
