"On behalf of the mayor's office, over 550 employees, all our members of the city council and over 67,263 citizens of Jonesboro, we want to make this a great evening on Nov. 8, so to help do that we have also put this proclamation together that I am very proud to present to the Arkansas State Athletics Department," said Perrin.

The 2012 ASU football team, which sports a bowl-eligible 6-3 overall record with a first-place tying 4-1 SBC mark to date this fall under head coach Gus Malzahn, will square off against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks this Thursday at 6 p.m. (CT) in a conference game to be televised live nationally by ESPNU.

It is time for the A-State Nation to rise up and show their Red Wolves' pride by wearing red and help us create a special game-day atmosphere for the entire country to see on ESPNU."
