A missing Harrison woman has been found dead.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) says the body of Jane Jones, 87, was found Tuesday in the woods near her former home in the rural Peel area.
Jones' vehicle was found about 125 yards from County Road 8123, in a wooded area.
Officers conducted a search of the area and Jones was found about 80 yards from her vehicle.
Jones had been missing from her Harrison home since last Wednesday and had been the subject of a Silver Alert issued by the Arkansas State Police at the request of the Harrison Police Department.
