Lake Village Fall Festival Starts Thursday with Carnival

Lake Village (Chicot County) is getting ready to celebrate the return of Fall.
The Lake Village Fall Festival is Friday and Saturday.
It will feature a barbecue contest for adults and children, a baking contest, homemade scarecrow contest, painted or decorated pumpkin contest, live music, a carnival and children's games.
The carnival gets underway on Thursday.
In the adult barbecue cookoff, contestants must use barbecue ribs or chicken but the younger contestants are free to choose whatever they want to barbecue. Contestants in the bake-off must use pumpkin as one of the ingredients.
