Dr. David talks about new warnings in a Fungal Meningitis outbreak.

More patients -- not just those who got steroid shots -- will be getting calls from their doctors warning them they might have a dangerous fungal infection.

The FDA now suspects fungal contamination is possible in all of the supposedly sterile products made by the New England Compounding Pharmacy (NECC) on or after May 21, 2012. People who got shots of any of these medicines -- particularly those given during eye treatments or heart surgery -- are at risk.

Dr. David also announced he's now working with The Healthy Aging Center at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton. It's open from 8:30 to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday. For an appointment call: 1-855-690-9355.

The center works to promote the health and longevity of adults of all ages and plans to develop a unique educational program to empower patients to be better consumers of health care and to help maintain their health and prevent disease.
