Cabot, Sherwood Fire Depts. Prepare to Honor Fallen Firefighter

Cabot and Sherwood firefighters are preparing to say goodbye to one of their own.

Longtime firefighter Marty Stumbaugh died over the weekend during a trip to Alabama.
   
Stumbaugh was a full-time firefighter for Cabot for 20 years, he also worked part time for the Sherwood Fire Department.

On Friday, the cities will hold a firefighter's funeral for Stumbaugh at 11 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church.
   
After the ceremony, Stumbaugh's casket will be placed on a fire engine as part of a processional through town.
