Gould Mayor Jailed for Contempt of Court

The Mayor of Gould is in jail after being charged with contempt of court.
Mayor Ernest Nash is being held without bond in the Lincoln County Detention Center.
Last week, city recorder-treasurer Pamela Barley-Gibson filed a petition to have Nash held in contempt and removed from office.
She claims Nash barred her from entering her office, resulting in city accounts and employees going unpaid.
We're told Nash will be held without bond until further notice.
