Visitation for Matt Turner Held in Arkadelphia

Lines of people streamed into Third Street Baptist Church in Turner's hometown of Arkadelphia. Once inside, more long lines of friends and family waiting to pay their final respects.
"He was super, a great inspiration to all of us, we were all very proud of him," said Matt's aunt, Kathy Phillips.
"He was a wonderful, wonderful young man, never would say an unkind word about anyone," said Turner family friend Kim Tatman.
During the visitation, a slideshow of pictures showed Matt in happy times with his family, including his wife Julee and their daughter Preslee.
"He was what he was from the time he was born until today," said family friend Patsy Cook, "He was a wonderful, wonderful person."
Funeral services for Turner are also at the church. They begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The service is also open to the public.
Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Preslee Turner College Fund at Summit Bank, Box 965, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 or any Summit Bank location, Arkadelphia, Conway, Benton, Bryant, Malvern, Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Hope and Magnolia.
