KARK Signal Update: Tuesday Afternoon
By: KARK 4 News
Updated: October 11, 2012
The majority of viewers who experienced outages last night and this morning should be able to see KARK again.
Thanks for your patience while the first round of repairs were being made.
You should be able to find any NBC programming you might have missed on nbc.com.
Original Story:
KARK-TV is currently experiencing technical issues that may impact the ability of some viewers to see our signal.
Engineers hope to have KARK back on the air at a reduced power by 4pm. Most satellite, cable, and antenna customers should get service back at that time.
As of Tuesday morning, station engineers believed there was a burn in the transmission line. KARK is currently broadcasting in low power. Due to that lower power signal, scattered viewers are unable to view KARK.
A tower crew arrived in Little Rock early Tuesday and is currently working to fix the problem.
If repairs run behind schedule, KARK and NBC programming will air this evening on KARZ through 10:30 p.m.
KARK sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and hopes to quickly fix the problem.
