Arkadelphia will dedicate a large mural to the community this weekend.

The mural is intended to represent the community, and has been worked on by a number of community members.

The design, titled "The Journey from a Dream to the Promise," depicts a young man's path through an uncertain future with aspirations of a successful educational career.

Project Manager Farrell Ford spoke with KARK 4's Josh Berry about what they are trying to portray with the mural.
