Teachers often pull from their own pocketbooks to pick up things for their classroom and students.

On Thursday one Little Rock teacher who asked for a little help saw her wish was granted.

Millicent Sanders-Anderson was surprised by representatives from Sonic at Henderson Magnet Middle School when they showed up and told her she'd been awarded a nearly $900 grant from the Limeades for Learning program.

She'll use that money to fund a broadcasting project at the school.

"I was trying to get some cameras for our kids to do their projects for the journalism program so we asked for some video camera and tripods and all that so they can act like they're real journalists and get a feel for the field," she says.
