Little Rock Neighborhoods Celebrating National Night Out

Many across the nation, including Little Rock, will be celebrating National Night Out.

It's a year-long community building campaign designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
 
In the evening on October 2nd Citizens in Little Rock will celebrate Night Out with a variety of neighborhood events. There will be block parties, cookouts, flashlight walks, festivals, visits from local officials and law enforcement, safety fairs and youth events. There are sixteen LRNO events signed up with the Little Rock Police Department.
