Original story (10:30 a.m.)
It's taken weeks to see it after a new season started for NBC's "The Voice," but on the show tonight Arkansans will finally see the blind audition for a Beebe native.
Cody Belew, 27, now lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
Belew's Facebook page describes him this way:
"A singer, songwriter, and entertainer with one foot in country music and the other in classic R&B. Cody grew up singing in little rodeo arenas on Saturdays and in Gospel church houses on Sundays. Mix all that up and you've got a perspective that is authentically southern and deeply rooted in a fresh perspective on how country music can be delivered."
Belew's audition for "The Voice" is part of tonight's two-hour show, which begins at 7 o'clock.
Watch it on NBC and KARK 4.
