Flu season is just around the corner, and the Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Department of Education want to keep your students healthy.

The seasonal flu vaccine will be offered to school children in grades K through 12 beginning Friday, October 8. The school clinics will continue over the next several months.

While the state health department says the vaccine is not required for children to attend school, it is highly recommended.
