Update (September 28):
There's a new photo of the baby gorilla born last month at the Little Rock Zoo.

The picture shows the little one clinging tightly to his mother.

You can get a peek at the new arrival on Saturday when the zoo holds a baby shower to celebrate the birth.

The shower is part of Enrichment Day at the zoo, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Original story (September 26):
The Little Rock Zoo promises something a little different on Saturday.

It's celebrating Enrichment Day from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., which gives zoo visitors the chance to watch the animals showcase their natural talents as they interact with enrichment items.

Booths will be scattered throughout the Zoo where visitors can learn more about enrichment and experience the fun of enrichment devices first hand.

Also on Saturday, there's a shower to officially welcome the baby Gorilla born last month.

The shower begins at 11 o'clock and honors mom and dad Sekani and Fossey on the birth of their new baby.

The zoo also wants future visitors to know about the annual Halloween season event Boo at the Zoo. This year's dates are October 19-21 and October 26-31 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. each night. An adults only preview is October 18th. Tickets will be available soon.
