Some lucky people spent their day riding in old planes Sunday morning. Rides were offered at Central Flying at the Little Rock Airport in the last flyable B-29.
These planes were used in the Air Force back in World War II. Some veterans were proud of the time they spent on board.
Radio operator Harry Worley says, "I was 19 years old when I got called, and I was lucky to wind up in the Air Force. I was lucky to wind up on a B-29. We started out -- they told us we had to fly 25 missions and we could go back home. They soon changed that to 30, and before we got home, they changed that to 35."
The B-29 will leave for three days in Fayetteville Monday morning.
