Web Extra: Coach John L. Smith Reacts to Rutgers Loss

For Razorback fans, it's an all too familiar scene: coach John L. Smith trying to explain a tough loss to the media.
When that happened on Saturday night following the defeat by Rutgers, there certainly weren't any references to "smiles." The mood in the room was somber and serious. (Click here to listen to the full press conference)
"You have to give credit to Rutgers," said Smith. "They made plays when they needed to make plays."
Coach Smith directly addresses the fans by thanking them for their support and letting them know they deserve better. Smith said the team would be hard at work all week to ensure they get a better performance next week against Texas A&M.
When asked how he would describe the last three weeks, Smith only looked forward saying the team needs to "battle, battle, battle."
