Cabot Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

A Cabot family is mourning the loss of a loved one who was killed in Afghanistan.
The family of Sgt. Jason Swindle was notified this week of his death. He's a native of Cabot.
Swindle was a father and husband. He also leaves behind a twin brother who also served in the military.
Condolences started flooding social media Friday afternoon.
"RIP SGT Jason Swindle," wrote Seth Enlow. He was a good soldier, leader, and man. He will be missed by all who knew him and never forgotten."
Please pray for the family of US Army Sgt. Jason Swindle who lost his life today in Afghanistan," wrote Suzanne Begley.
Sgt. Swindle was
supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
He was
assigned to 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team,
3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.

We grew up together, joined the Army together, and went to war together. He was a great person and there isnt anthing that anybody can say thats bad about him. He always made the best of every situation and always made people smile. He changed my life forever and Im greatful to have known him.
