Texarkana Nonprofit Needs Computers for Tutoring Program

A Texarkana nonprofit needs more computers for its tutoring programs.

The Faith, Love and Hope Youth Corporation helps students who drop by after school.

"Right now, we have approximately five students to one computer. That does not allow us to reach our students the way we want to," says the charity's Rosie Warfield-McGill.

"About 50 more computers are needed," she says. "It will allow them to comprehend and understand the data in which they're working on."

The group is already starting to get help.

Local pastor Walter Levels, Jr. is volunteering to fix some of the organization's broken computers. He says he's working for the sake of the students.

The Faith, Love and Hope Youth Corporation is looking for computers used or new.
