Several students in Gentry have been given the all clear after a measles scare.

According to Ozark Adventist Academy Principal Mike Dale, two siblings were sent home three weeks ago after showing symptoms of measles.

The school also identified six other students who had not been vaccinated for measles and sent them home as a precaution. Dale said five out of the six have been cleared by the health department and are back on campus.

Ten teachers were also sent home as a precaution, but have since been cleared and are back at work.
