The Batesville Chamber of Commerce recently began running ads informing people of their growing town.

The city with just less than 10,000 people has a long, rich history and the mayor wants the town to have a great future.

Mayor Elumbaugh says, "The city of Batesville is a very unique place. Like I mentioned earlier, it's on the banks of the White River. It's centrally located. You're an hour and a half from Little Rock, Arkansas."

Mayor Elumbaugh says they rely heavily on industry and are trying to lure more industry to town.
