Have You Seen Her? Cabot Pet Owner Searching for Lost Parrot

It's not the usual lost pet report for a family that's missing a Congo African Grey parrot named "Suzie."
Karma Smoke posted a flyer seeking information on her missing bird on the KARK Facebook page today.
Smoke says Suzie, just 14 weeks old, flew off the back deck of her home last Wednesday after a gust of wind startled the bird. The next three days brought high winds and heavy rain from what was left of Hurricane Isaac through the area, making it difficult to search for the missing pet.
Smoke's neighborhood is off of First Street in Cabot, about a half-mile from the skating rink.
Smoke says she's been told by other bird owners that her parrot will likely stay within a one-mile radius of her home, but she's posted the bird's photo on missing pet websites nationwide just in case. That includes contacting veterinarians and animal shelters all around Cabot. She says many have reported finding their missing birds one week later and others months later.
Smoke says it's also possible the bird may approach people looking for food.
Suzie's most distinct feature is a bright red tail (see additional photos in attached video) and she can whistle and beep.
Her owner is hoping someone has seen her and can give her a narrower search area. She says the family's other pets are missing Suzie.
Smoke, who says she is considering offering a reward for Suzie also says "I never realized how losing a pet could hurt so bad."
Smoke says after she posted her search for Suzie on Facebook, she was contacted by a Sherwood woman who told her she had lost her own 12-year-old African Grey parrot recently.
